The viscosity of our products can be adjusted from thin to thick, or even in a paste form, if necessary, so that customers do not need to reformulate.
The main concerns with electronic components (such as PCB) are that it contains shadowed area where light can’t be penetrated. In such cases, light curing mechanism will not work in shadowed area, leaving behind uncured coating remains in shadow area. Under such conditions, dual cure coatings are employed. Dual cure coatings cure materials in both light as well as shadow area via moisture or heat as secondary cure. Engineers at SK Resins, have come up with products that overcome these issues. Our special products cure not only in light, but also cures by moisture and heat. Some customers specifically request for light/heat curing and some customers request us for light/moisture curing products in order to improve the physical and mechanical properties of their products. We are currently serving automobile electronics and cosmetic (gel nail polish) industries. However, upon a specific interest from our customers, we developed our adhesive and coating products for other market segments such as aerospace, medical, optical and consumer market.
